Course Description:

The HR management course will teach new skills related to Human Capital Leadership. These abilities will include managing, motivating, staffing, planning, organizing, and communicating with a group of individuals. The company’s human resource management will also be covered in this course, aiming to provide students with an understanding of the theories and ideas of modern people management, making it easier for them to understand the primary duties and obligations of HR managers, and improving their management abilities.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about the concepts behind modern HRM.
  • Discuss the significance of ethics, morals, and motivation for the whole personnel department.
  • Examine, evaluate, and appraise applications of personnel ideas that are realistic and useful.
  • Identify strategies and tactics to enhance the attitudes and performances of individuals and groups inside an organization, augmenting its efficacy and efficiency.
  • As HR managers and members of an organization, help students develop their knowledge and leadership abilities.
  • Enhance students’ skills in bridging the gap between management and employees.

DAY 12: FINAL EXAM / PROJECT

Course Presentation:
The specified subjects and case studies (if any) for each week will be presented using PowerPoint. Missed class sessions or lack of involvement will impact your final grade. To pass the class, you must complete all the required group activities and submit an individual project.

Attendance Policy:
Consistent class attendance is required for a variety of reasons, especially contributing to discussions and activities. Discuss unexpected absences with the instructor ahead of time, as they will negatively impact your mark. Your individual participation will be graded.

Grading System:

  • Topic Presentation: 15%
  • Mid Term Exam: 15%
  • Final Exam: 15%
  • Individual Research Paper: 15%
  • Class Participation/Class Preparation: 10%
  • Individual Research Project: 30%
    (Papers will be graded based on the depth of concept presentation)

Individual Research Paper & Project:

  1. Provide a synthesis of the importance of HR Management.
  2. Discuss the significance of Ethical Behavior in HRM.
  3. Discuss the importance of Strategic HRM Practices and their Impact on organizational performance.

Individual Research Project:
4. Present 5 Case Studies of Human Resources Management (Prepare a synthesis of each case).

Final Requirements:

All documents should be consolidated and include the following:
