Project Management Course Syllabus
The course addresses the principles and concepts of operations management. Operations management is a business discipline that focuses on managing a company’s operations to achieve project efficiency. This means that the person in charge of the department will be expected to undertake a variety of strategic duties.
An operations management course teaches skills that may be used for a wide range of enterprises. Students who complete an operations management course should have a solid grasp of how firms function and be able to apply that knowledge to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
1. Understanding the definition and establish the fundamental knowledge of operations
management. It also examines the fundamental decisions and deeds that shape the overall
trajectory and methodology of the operations function.
2. Identify the key components of product and service design, and the ways to improve
reliability in design decisions. Understand multiple analytical techniques and applications to
develop business forecasts.
3. Looking at six different aspects of planning and controlling the delivery of products and
services as they flow through processes, operations and supply networks.
4. Determine the important factors that are used by decision-makers to address the production
(aggregate) planning.
5. Realizing the significance of operations development in order to meet the demands of
customers and the agility of the competition.
